Artist's Comments
I've got Windows XP (32-bit) with StyleXP running a modified "Vista XP" Visual Style at 3200x1200 (two 20.1" LCDs at 1600x1200). You'll notice I also have the Mac-style Dock on the bottom of the right screen; it's actually a plugin-type thing called RocketDock. I usually have both it and my taskbar on AutoHide, but for the purposes of this screenshot, I left them up.
I like pretty much everything in my OS UI to be dark and monochromatic, so anything outside of my applications will tend to fade into the same obscure muddiness. That way, I only pay attention to what I'm working on and don't get distracted by a flashy, loud background. Plus, I think it's cool lookin : ) |
